Who are the JESUIT BROTHERS?
Some men receive a special calling from God. They are not interested in doing the work of a priest, but they love God and want to serve the people.
A JESUIT BROTHER is a man called by God to do the apostolic and missionary work of the Church. He shares with the priest “one and the same vocation” as a Jesuit. As a Jesuit, he commits himself totally to God by taking the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.

nwei, wld like 2 thank u for the vocsem last year (d november-garage vocsem) which started my discernment process concerning the society. d brothers are a gift to any religious congregation. i told bro. raymond that i made a paper 3 years ago regarding the gift of the brotherhood state. they brothers remind us that religious life is not meant for clerical ministry but for an identity of full participation in the life of Christ as a community. to this end, the brothers are a graceful reminder that one is called to an intimate life with Christ in the context of a community. unfortunately, i haven't had any luck looking for that paper in my files.
